basketPrivacy Policy

This page describes what we collect when you use basket and how we keep that data protected. We at basket take your privacy seriously. We collect only the information necessary to operate our platform, process your payments, and comply with local law. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your personal information for marketing without your consent.

Our privacy practices are designed around a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We are custodians of it, not owners. We store it securely, we limit access to authorised staff only, and we delete it when you request account closure or when we no longer have a legal reason to retain it.

If you have questions about how we handle your information, or if you wish to exercise your rights under local data-protection law, contact our support team. We respond to all privacy inquiries in English and provide clear explanations of our practices.

What we collect on basket

We collect information in three categories: identity data, account activity, and payment information.

Identity data

When you create a basket account, we collect your full name, date of birth, national ID number or passport number, email address, and phone number. We verify this information against government records or third-party identity services to confirm you are who you claim to be. We also collect your residential address to confirm you are in a jurisdiction where our services are available. Users in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, and Yogyakarta all provide the same identity information; we do not differentiate by region.

Account activity

We record every action you take on basket: deposits, withdrawals, bets placed, games played, wins, losses, and account settings changes. We store this data to generate your account history, settle disputes, detect fraud, and comply with anti-money-laundering regulations. We retain account activity for up to two years after your last login, then delete it unless we have a legal obligation to keep it longer.

Payment information

We collect payment method details: your e-wallet account identifier (for DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet) or your bank account number (for mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet). We do not store your passwords, PINs, or card numbers. We route all payment credentials directly to your bank or e-wallet provider through encrypted channels. We store only a reference to your payment method so we can process future deposits and withdrawals to the same account.

Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS protocols. Your payment credentials are never stored in plain text on our systems.

How we use your data and your rights on basket

We use your identity data to verify your account, prevent fraud, and comply with anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer regulations. We use your account activity to settle bets, process withdrawals, and generate your account statements. We use your payment information to process deposits and withdrawals only—we do not use it for any other purpose.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or targeted advertising without your explicit consent. We do not share your personal information with third parties except where required by law (for example, if a court orders us to disclose account information, or if we are required to report suspicious activity to financial regulators).

Third-party processors

We use third-party service providers to process payments, verify identity, and host our servers. These processors are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data for the specific purpose we authorise. Our payment processors (the banks and e-wallet providers) handle your payment credentials directly; we do not pass them through our own systems. Our identity-verification partner receives your ID number and name only, and deletes this data after verification is complete. Our hosting provider stores encrypted copies of your account data but cannot decrypt it without our encryption keys.

Data location: Our servers may sit outside your jurisdiction. By using basket, you consent to your data being processed and stored outside Indonesia if necessary for platform operations.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data. You can download a copy of all information we hold about you by requesting it through our support team. We provide this data in a portable format within 30 days of your request.

You have the right to correct inaccurate data. If your name, address, or other information is wrong, contact us and we will update it.

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data. When you request account closure, we delete your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, for tax or anti-money-laundering compliance). Your account activity may be retained in anonymised form for statistical purposes.

You have the right to object to certain uses of your data. If we process your information for a purpose you do not consent to, you can object and we will cease that processing unless we have a legal obligation to continue.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. These are functional cookies necessary for basket to operate. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies that follow you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from logging into your basket account.
